Healthy ageing

Staying independent, steady and well as the years go on.

What it is

Healthy ageing focuses on strength, balance, memory, medicines, mood, hearing and vision — the things that most protect independence.

Common signs
  • Slowing down or new unsteadiness
  • A fall or near-fall
  • Forgetfulness that worries you or your family
  • Taking several medicines
  • Low mood or isolation
What care may look like

We review medicines for ones no longer needed, check balance and strength, screen memory and mood, and confirm vision, hearing and vaccines. Together we set goals that matter to you and plan the support to reach them.

What you can do now
  • Strength and balance exercise twice a week
  • Protein at each meal
  • Remove trip hazards and improve lighting
  • Keep hearing and vision checked
  • Stay socially connected
When to contact us

Get in touch after any fall, when new confusion appears, when a medicine list changes, or if daily tasks are getting harder.
